The original "Gone in 60 Seconds" is one of Michael's top 5 favorite car chase movies. And, unlike many of the other classics featured in Michael's painting "End of the Line" (right) like "Bullitt", "Dirty Mary, Crazy Larry" and "Diamonds are Forever", "Gone in 60 Seconds" entire script revolves around the big chase!! It may have been a b-movie. It may have been shot (except for the destruction of cars) on a shoestring budget. It may even had questionable acting. But to this day, it is still one of the most amazing car chase movies ever to grace the silver screen. Remember 1974 ... there was no CGI in sight!Friday, December 30, 2016
